Weather : Riding in heavy rain and/or strong winds is not very pleasant and I make every effort to avoid such conditions. I will cancel and reschedule a tour if the weather forecast calls for a significant amount of unpleasant weather. However, light rain showers do occur and we will continue the tour using rain-gear in the event of light rain.

Breakdowns: You should have roadside assistance coverage which is available through your insurance company or other organizations such as the AMA. You should also consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance, www.travelex-insurance.com is a provider of trip cancellation insurance.
Since cell phone service is sporadic on these tours, in the event of a breakdown I will contact whoever you wish ASAP to assist you. On the Ultimate Skydrive Tour you may ride in the support vehicle to our motel in the event of a breakdown.

What should you bring?: Your motorcycle, riding-gear, rain-gear, lunch & gas money.

How often will we stop?: I stop for restroom breaks every 60 to 90 minutes. This is also a good time to stretch your legs and refill your beverage.

Do you have to stay with the group?: No, You can ride at your own pace if you prefer. You may ride alone or with whoever you prefer. I will provide you with a map and directions upon request.

Why are some of the destinations not revealed?: Many of our destinations are not revealed because they are exclusive to Skydrive Motorcycle Tours. The Ultimate Skydrive Tour includes the most popular destinations in the region as well as exclusive hidden treasures.

Loud pipes?: If you have loud exhaust pipes you will be required to ride at the rear of the tour group.

Where do we eat?: We eat at various restaurants. However you may eat wherever you’d like, just bring me your receipt. There is a $22.50 per person/per meal limit.

Note: Meals are not provided on the “Virginian-Swiss” tour. A support vehicle is provided for the “Ultimate Skydrive” Tour only.
